Position OverviewJoin a highly regarded employment law practice where you'll work on sophisticated, high-impact matters for a diverse range of businesses, from emerging companies to established organizations. This is an opportunity to build your litigation expertise while advising employers on complex workplace issues, investigations, and strategic employment matters. You'll collaborate with experienced attorneys on challenging cases, gain meaningful client contact, and take on substantive responsibilities in a fast-paced and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent employers in complex employment litigation matters involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and related workplace claims.Advise organizations on employment law compliance, risk management, employee relations issues, and workplace best practices.Conduct and manage workplace investigations, including matters involving senior executives and leadership teams.Handle litigation activities including motion practice, depositions, case strategy, discovery, and court proceedings.Support employment-related aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence, executive employment agreements, and separation arrangements.Qualifications / Nice to HaveMust Have4+ years of employment law experience with a strong emphasis on litigation.Experience defending employers in state and/or federal employment matters.Background handling substantive motion practice, depositions, and day-to-day case management.Active admission to a state bar or eligibility for admission in California.Nice to HaveExperience with wage and hour class, collective, or representative actions.Exposure to trade secret disputes, employee mobility matters, or whistleblower claims.Experience conducting workplace investigations.Employment-related transactional due diligence experience.Trial experience.BenefitsBase salary range: $235,000 - $310,000Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options.Generous parental leave and family-building benefits, including adoption and fertility assistance.HSA and FSA account options.401(k) and Roth 401(k) plans.Wellness resources, including employee assistance programs and mental health support tools.Flexible paid time off and alternative work schedule arrangements.Payment of primary state bar dues and select professional association memberships.Pro bono support and resources.Charitable and educational gift-matching programs.
