Full-Time Law Firm Legal Assistant

Wu & Reddy, APC, an established 31-year-old business litigation, intellectual property, and corporate transactions focused law firm in Irvine, California, is seeking upcoming college graduates or graduates for an on-site full-time legal assistant.

Responsibilities:

Scope of duties include assisting lawyers and other staff regarding civil litigation and business transactions case support, such as docket monitoring, document intaking, exhibit preparation, electronic filing, etc. Office administrative tasks include billing, calendaring, website updating, and answering phone calls.

Qualifications:

Prior professional office experience in a law office, accounting firm, or insurance firm is required. A bachelor’s degree is required. The ideal candidate is highly computer literate in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and PDF editing. Data and document organization, maintaining accuracy, and detail orientation are skills essential to this role.

In addition, being able to take initiative, work independently, gather and process complex information, and simultaneously manage multiple cases and task deadlines is necessary.

Mandarin speaking ability is a plus, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits:

Training will be provided. Holiday and sick days are provided per company policy. Compensation range is $25.50 - $32.50 / hr, depending on experience.
