Position OverviewWe are in search of an experienced nursing director with extensive hospice expertise and a solid history of overseeing operations, including quality assurance, compliance, regulatory standards, and financial management. This hybrid role will oversee four facilities located in Oklahoma City, OK, St. Louis, MO, and Mt. Vernon, IL.
CompensationSalary Range: $115,564.80 - $173,347.20

The stated salary range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting, but actual compensation may vary as permitted by law.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the annual budget preparation for hospice and palliative care programs, aligning with strategic and marketing plans at the entity level.
- Coordinate, develop, and execute the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Program (QAPI), reporting quality metrics to the Board of Directors annually.
- Facilitate effective communication across all organizational levels, ensuring the needs of staff, management, customers, and the community are met.
- Foster a customer service-oriented environment, providing staff with opportunities for ongoing education in customer relations.
- Establish benchmarks and performance metrics for entities within the service area, delivering accurate performance data to senior management.
- Model principles of continuous quality improvement, ensuring data-driven decision-making and strong customer-supplier relationships.
- Maintain low employee turnover by creating a positive work atmosphere and promoting open communication.
- Utilize regional resources effectively for program development, system enhancements, and best practice promotion.
- Support an organization-wide sales and marketing approach, assisting sales and marketing staff as needed.
- Provide career development opportunities and training for hospice and palliative care managers.
- Maintain a vigilant and safe working environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education: Master’s degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of eight years in management, with at least three years in the post-acute service sector.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Illinois: Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Missouri: Registered Nurse (RN) - Issued by Compact State or Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Oklahoma: Registered Nurse (RN) - Issued by Compact State or Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
