What You Will Do Plan, coordinate, promote, implement, and evaluate engaging programs that support the physical, emotional, spiritual, cognitive, and social well-being of residents across all levels of care Develop and maintain a robust monthly activities calendar and community events schedule Create meaningful programs that encourage resident participation, enrichment, and connection Prepare and distribute timely and informative resident newsletters and communication materials Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate activities and wellness team members Recruit, coordinate, and supervise volunteers while ensuring safe work practices Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and professional standards Develop, maintain, and periodically update departmental policies, procedures, and job descriptions Assist with departmental budgeting, forecasting, and staffing plans while ensuring responsible use of financial resources Coordinate transportation services for resident outings, appointments, and community events Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of community vehicles to ensure safe and dependable transportation Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and guests Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director Supervisory Responsibilities This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is expected to perform independently while exercising sound judgment and leadership.
