Salesforce Business Analyst

Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst Employment Type: W2 with Zipstaff Location: Phoenix, AZ About the Opportunity ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to partner with business and technical teams on Salesforce initiatives. In this role, you will gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into clear functional specifications, and help deliver scalable Salesforce solutions. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, supporting configuration, testing, documentation, and user enablement. What You'll Do: Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and document Salesforce-related business requirements. Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and work closely with developers to implement scalable solutions. Serve as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on goals and deliverables. Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement using Salesforce capabilities. Support configuration and testing of Salesforce features, including objects, workflows, validation rules, and reports. Assist in managing Salesforce projects and enhancements to ensure timely delivery. Develop and maintain process flows, data maps, and detailed documentation. Conduct user training sessions and support change management efforts. Stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities and recommend best practices. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or IT Analyst. At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce. Proven ability to gather and document business and technical requirements. Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce modules. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe) and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) or Salesforce Business Analyst certification. Experience with data migration, integration tools, or Salesforce APIs. Knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboard tools.
