Receiving Material Processor Lead

Job TitleThis job is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility.This role is based at our Lewisville, TX location with a schedule of Monday - Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorking knowledge of shop floor systems (CVision, Oracle, Unit Tracker, Great Plains, Ghost)Participate in daily stand-up meetings with SupervisorParticipate in internal and external customer or vendor meetingsWork with the Supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goalsWork with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achievedBe the point of contact for employees for handling escalation issuesWork with Engineering to identify and resolve process issuesAbility to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibilityTrack and maintain daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposesParticipate with the 6S Audit team on monthly 6S auditsWork with supervisor to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor as a result from the auditsForklift certified if needed for area of responsibilityPerform on-the-job (OJT) refresher training and work station assessmentMonitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for specific area of responsibilityMonitor KPI and SLA performance levels and escalate any issues/concerns to supervisor when neededAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employeesMust be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leadingRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 year of previous light manufacturing experience or 1 year of previous Inspector experienceProficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectationsStrong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management and organizational skillsHelpful Skills/ExperienceDatabase software- data entry software in existing programsPrior leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations, or another applicable environmentSpreadsheet software- Microsoft Excel- basic understanding and data entry into a preformed spreadsheetWord processing- Microsoft Word- basic documents and reportsPay Range$ 17,34 - $ 27,75Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.If there is no posting end date listed then this is a pipeline requisition, and we will continue to collect applications on an ongoing basis.
