Job Summary: The OnBase Lead will play a pivotal role in the delivery of EXL Solutions within the LifePRO Business Unit. This position operates in a matrix environment, reporting to the Global Products and Platforms leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in document management systems, particularly OnBase, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and configuration of document management solutions. The role requires minimal travel, estimated at 0% to 10%, primarily domestic with occasional international trips.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of OnBase document management systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Possess hands-on experience with document management systems such as FileNet, SharePoint, Alfresco, or Documentum.
- Configure document types, keyword sets, and related settings within the document management system.
- Participate in PI planning sessions, Scrum meetings, and retrospective sessions to ensure agile project delivery.
- Gather requirements, conduct analysis, and create technical specification documents.
- Develop APIs and perform necessary configuration changes to enhance system functionality.
- Design, review, and implement document management solutions tailored to business needs.
- Engage in walk-throughs, inspections, and review meetings to ensure quality and compliance.
- Adhere to standards and processes within the testing organization.
- Gain knowledge of the business domain and application workflows to better inform project decisions.
- Coordinate with cross-application teams for upstream and downstream impact analysis.
- Prioritize and organize work effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Provide expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders on document management topics.
Mandatory Skills:
- Workflow/Work view API Certification.
- Experience working iteratively in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience with .Net technologies, including SQL, ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OnBase as a primary document management system.
- Knowledge of LOMA (US Life & Annuity Insurance) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with other document management systems such as FileNet, SharePoint, Alfresco, or Documentum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly with US insurers or product companies.
