Role Overview
The Accounting Analyst will support daily accounting operations, reporting, and analysis while working closely with senior accounting and finance team members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, eager to learn, and brings a strong “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, schedules, and variance analyses
- Support general ledger maintenance and financial data accuracy
- Assist with data analysis related to expenses, revenue, and financial trends
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting and business needs
- Help improve and document accounting processes and controls
- Handle ad-hoc projects and analytical requests as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- ** 0–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience ** (internships count)
- Strong Excel skills
- Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
