Manager Corporate Strategy

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business Strategy Officer to drive enterprise-wide strategic planning and business transformation initiatives. This highly visible leadership role will partner closely with executive leadership to develop and execute strategies that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and long-term business objectives.

The Business Strategy Officer will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, enhancing business intelligence capabilities, supporting governance frameworks, and identifying opportunities to improve business performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans that align with organizational goals and growth objectives.
• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring successful delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and business performance metrics to provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Oversee business intelligence and reporting functions, leveraging data-driven insights to support decision-making.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and business expansion.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure strategic alignment, accountability, and risk management.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Facilitate strategic planning sessions and support the development of annual and long-term business plans.
• Build strong relationships across business units to drive collaboration and organizational alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in business strategy, corporate strategy, management consulting, business planning, or a related field.
• Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, wealth management, fintech, or a highly regulated industry preferred.
• Proven ability to lead complex strategic initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience utilizing business intelligence and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into actionable strategic plans.
• Experience with governance, organizational planning, and change management initiatives is highly desirable.
