What you'll do:
- Estimate costs for landscape and hardscape projects, ensuring accuracy in materials, labor, and equipment
- Review blueprints, site plans, and specifications to create detailed takeoffs
- Prepare bids and proposals that align with client budgets and project goals
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to refine estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Analyze materials and labor requirements to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to secure pricing and availability
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and confirm scope of work
What we're looking for:
- Experience in landscape, snow/ice or construction estimating (residential or commercial)
- Tech-savvy mindset – Ability to work efficiently with estimating software, AI tools, and spreadsheets
- Strong understanding of materials, labor costs, and construction methods
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, and hardscape installation
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
