Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Position Neurodiagnostic Technologist – Methodist Hospital and Riley Hospital for Children. Job Overview The role encompasses progressive responsibilities across three technical levels, focusing on neurophysiological testing and monitoring in diverse clinical environments. Responsibilities Tech I: Provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in clinical settings; accurately applies electrodes, records impulse frequencies and electrical potential differences, and documents abnormal wave characteristics for diagnostic purposes. Tech II: Prepares and performs neurophysiological testing in clinical, neurotelemetry, and EMU contexts; demonstrates knowledge of ICU, epilepsy, neonatal, and typical neurophysiological patterns; works with minimal supervision, records and monitors patient data, reports findings, triages patient care needs, maintains high-quality recordings, troubleshoots, and mentors less experienced team members. Tech III: Executes neurophysiological testing in clinical, neurotelemetry/EMU, and intraoperative settings; demonstrates proficiency with ICU, epilepsy, neonatal, and complex neurophysiological patterns; works independently, records and monitors patient data, reports findings, triages patient care, maintains recording quality, troubleshoots, and leads the development of junior staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr Indiana University Health
