Summary of JD This is an individual contributor role for an experienced payroll professional who can confidently own the payroll process with minimal oversight. The hiring manager is looking for someone who is naturally curious, proactive, and comfortable making decisions independently rather than waiting for direction. Key responsibilities include: Own bi-weekly multi-state payroll administration using ADP Workforce Now Review payroll data, reconcile payroll and benefit deductions, and ensure overall payroll accuracy Partner with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain compliance Support benefits administration by ensuring payroll deductions and benefit elections remain aligned Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting while maintaining data integrity Research payroll regulations, identify process improvements, and recommend operational enhancements Serve as a trusted resource for employee payroll and routine benefits questions Ideal Background 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience in a hands-on payroll role Strong Payroll Systems experience Excellent reconciliation, auditing, and analytical skills Experience supporting payroll within a small, collaborative team where ownership is expected Knowledge of payroll compliance, state and local tax regulations, and payroll/benefits integration #J-18808-Ljbffr Atrium
