As our Desktop Support Technician II for our IT team in Los Angeles , you'll play a key role supporting Psomas employees across assigned regional offices. In this hands-on support position, you'll provide frontline technical assistance, troubleshoot day-to-day technology issues, and help ensure employees have a reliable and seamless technology experience.

What You'll Do

As our Desktop Support Technician II , you will provide technical support while helping maintain a reliable, secure, and efficient IT environment. You will support Windows devices, Microsoft 365, engineering applications, and endpoint management solutions while assisting with day-to-day IT operations. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple support requests.

• End User Support & Troubleshooting
  Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and conference room technology. Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, network connectivity, and printing issues while delivering exceptional customer service both remotely and onsite.
• Microsoft 365 & User Administration
  Support and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Entra ID. Manage user accounts, licensing, password resets, multi-factor authentication, and user onboarding and offboarding through Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Endpoint & Systems Support
  Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM). Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, business applications, and engineering software, including Autodesk products.
• Active Directory & Group Policy
  Support Active Directory administration, including user and group management, security permissions, and Group Policy troubleshooting to help maintain a secure and consistent desktop environment.
• Documentation & Ticket Management
  Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, requests, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system. Effectively prioritize work, communicate status updates, and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
• Team Collaboration & Operational Support
  Partner with IT, HR, and business teams to support employee onboarding, equipment deployments, office technology initiatives, and IT projects. Provide occasional after-hours support as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of desktop support experience in an enterprise Windows environment.
• Experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, Microsoft Intune, and SCCM/MECM.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, printers, mobile devices, and business applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel between regional offices and provide occasional after-hours support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit.
• Experience working in an engineering, architecture, or consulting environment.
• Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, Windows, or Endpoint Management are a plus.

• Compensation: $25-$32/hour (commensurate with experience)
