Technical Sourcer

Role Description

As a part of Zip's Engineering, Product, & Design recruiting team, you will be responsible for the building blocks of the company. As a Technical Sourcer, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and helping screen candidates. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to learn, move, and adapt quickly, and remains laser focused on both quality and strong results.

• Effectively identify and attract Software Engineering, Product & Design candidates
• Source a large pipeline of high quality candidates across evergreen or high priority roles
• Engage exceptional technical candidates, engage and vet them, and manage interviewing and hiring processes, keeping candidate experience top of mind
• Partner with Zip’s leaders to define hiring needs and ideal candidate profiles
• Partner closely with cross-functional team members to land successful hires
• Track recruiting metrics and performance to continuously improve Zip's recruiting processes

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience of engineering sourcing experience
• Proven success sourcing for Engineering roles such as backend/frontend/fullstack engineering, Data Engineering, Security Engineering, Machine Learning, Infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, and AI Engineers
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to represent Zip’s story and value prop to top talent
• Highly proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, thriving in ambiguity and a fast-moving startup environment
• Detail-oriented and organized, comfortable managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously
• Strong experience working with ATS platforms; Ashby experience preferred

Requirements

• Experience scaling recruiting in a high-growth startup (Nice to Haves)
• Background in B2B SaaS and/or Fintech recruiting (Nice to Haves)
• Previous experience managing both volume hiring and niche, senior-level searches (Nice to Haves)
