Staff Technical Talent Sourcer

As a Staff Technical Talent Sourcer you will source specialized highly technical candidates while interacting with Recruiters, Coordinators, hiring managers, and hiring teams. This is a full‑time position reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, Global Talent Sourcing. The role is based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub may be the first considered. For those in commutable distance, Etsy requires in‑office attendance once or twice per week depending on proximity to the office. Responsibilities Technical recruitment for various teams at Etsy, primarily in DSML. Identifying and engaging passive talent within specific target niches. Partnering closely with the Talent Acquisition Team and Engineering/Product stakeholders and leadership to deeply understand hiring needs, provide hiring recommendations, support events, and build strategy beyond the current role. Tracking pipeline data and providing relevant updates to partners on all roles and projects supported. Supporting the full‑cycle recruiting process, building strong diverse pipelines, sourcing passive candidates while developing strategies to achieve team goals. Building strong internal relationships and working cross‑functionally with the greater HR teams, including HR Business Partners and Compensation. Acting as an internal and external-facing representative of Etsy and the talent acquisition team. Ensuring hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally. Qualifications 7+ years of recruiting and/or screening experience of engineering talent at high‑growth tech companies or similar. Ability to confidently represent the company with professionalism and courtesy both internally and externally. Experience consulting with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process. Passion for sourcing passive and diverse talent, and mapping out the market. Ability to prioritize and work well in a fast‑paced environment with competing demands. Ability to balance the demands of live roles with proactive, collaborative, and impactful project work. Familiarity with WorkdayRecruit or equivalent ATS experience. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $149,000.00 – $193,000.00. Equity package. Annual performance bonus.
