Supervise multiple teams of examiners and technical operations colleagues, delegating duties and ensuring licensing and documentation standards. Provide technical and jurisdictional guidance on claims adjudication, including quality reviews and reserve evaluations for high-cost or complex claims. Act as a second-level appeal authority for client and claimant issues, implementing final decisions. Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement; advise management and coordinate related projects. Monitor third-party and sensitive claims, including litigated and vocational rehabilitation cases. Maintain professional client relationships, offering recommendations and written summaries as needed. Ensure accurate claim coding and documentation by examiners. Core Qualifications 6 years of claims experience or equivalent education and experience, including 2 years as claims supervisor. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Professional certification in the line of business preferred. Licensing / Jurisdiction Knowledge Hawaii License & workers compensation claims handling experience. Benefits Flexible work schedule.
