The Web Press Operator plays a critical role in setting up, operating, and maintaining web press machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This position demands close attention to quality control, adherence to safety standards, and effective coordination with team members to support smooth production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Set up web press machinery according to job specifications
- Handle materials and feed stock into presses accurately
- Monitor production runs to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues promptly
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow and output
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in web press operation
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspection
- Knowledge of safety procedures specific to press operation
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines
