Production Generalist I 3rd Shift | Machine Operator

Production GeneralistRequired Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the work shift.Ability to lift and handle materials weighing between 20 and 50 pounds.Ability and willingness to work weekends, overtime, and holidays.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.Understanding of production concepts and processes.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Previous experience operating production, printing, sorting, or mailing equipment.Production Generalist Overview: The Production Generalist is responsible for operating production and mailing equipment, processing printed materials, preparing documents for shipment, and ensuring mail is accurately sorted and packaged. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, basic computer skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume production environment. The position also supports cross-training across multiple machines and equipment to meet operational needs.Job Duties:Operate machines used to print materials such as statements, health insurance cards, and loyalty cards.Manually insert documents and forms into envelopes.Affix tags to plastic carriers and prepare mail for expedited mailing packages.Operate presorting machines to sort and separate damaged or defective mail.Identify damaged mail and request reprints when necessary.Place sorted and processed mail into designated bins for delivery to the post office.Follow established procedures related to productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement.Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and operational goals.Participate in cross-training to learn and operate different machines and equipment.Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
