Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.Click HERE to discover how we empower team members to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers.We Love Our Work.What does Hollywood Casino St. Louis have to offer?Day 1 medical, dental, & vision benefits!Uber benefit for nearby metro stops.Recognition programs with cash rewards, gift cards, & more.Tuition Reimbursement, Lindenwood University Discounts, & Diversity Scholarship for Team Member's children.Pay: $16.00 per hourAs a Front Desk Clerk, you will,Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests; assist with check-in, check-out, and overall front desk operationsVerify payment methods, post charges, process payments, and balance cash drawers dailyMaintain accurate records of room availability, guest accounts, and registration information using hotel systemsReview guest accounts at checkout, correct discrepancies, and resolve guest concerns professionallyCoordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to address guest issues promptlyConduct Service Assurance calls within 30 minutes of guest arrivalReview shift logs, room rates, selling strategies, VIP lists, and group blocks with leadershipAssist guests with luggage, including safe handling, storage, and delivery using bell carts when neededEscort guests to rooms when appropriate and provide information on hotel amenities and hours of operationDeliver guest messages, mail, and special requests in a timely and accurate mannerRespond to guest inquiries and provide directions, recommendations, and local informationComplete Guest Services AM/PM checklists and ensure work areas remain organized and cleanPrepare deposits, secure cash floats, and follow all cash-handling proceduresComply with management requests, company policies, and all applicable gaming laws and regulationsBring Us Your Best.Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.Minimum of six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to effectively communicate with correct English grammar skills including verbal and written communications.Must build and maintain excellent rapport with internal and external customers, team members, community, media, and shareholders.Stay In The Game.
