Experience: Prior cardiac surgery experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Perform adult cardiac surgeries, including CABG and heart valve repairs or replacements
• Conduct general thoracic procedures such as thoracostomy, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, and VATS decortication/lung biopsy
• Manage high-risk ICU cases, including Impella procedures and critical medical management
• Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR and cath lab settings
• Collaborate with a focused team including first assist staff and anesthesiology team
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in open surgical cases and emergency procedures as needed

What You Need

• Active medical license in Kentucky or eligible for licensure
• Prior experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery (preferred)
• Ability to manage high-risk ICU cases and support structural heart procedures
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Certification in ACLS or equivalent (preferred)
