About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through a significant period of external change and market evolution. The successful candidate will be a strategic and forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in senior leadership roles, particularly in the areas of organizational growth, complexity, and transformation. The CEO will be responsible for external leadership and fundraising, serving as the primary spokesperson and fundraiser, and will be expected to design and execute a sophisticated fundraising strategy. This role also involves maintaining a transparent relationship with the Board of Directors, collaborating with senior leadership to execute the strategic plan, and ensuring the organization remains responsive to shifts in the postsecondary and workforce landscape. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in senior leadership, and a definitive track record of fundraising excellence. The role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to lead comprehensive change management, and experience in managing and empowering high-performing senior executives. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and experience in leading organizational strategy through a racial equity lens. The CEO will be expected to nurture a data-driven culture, strengthen internal systems, and manage organizational risk to support the company's national growth.
