Job Description To be responsible for all fundraising activities of the Center. To assist with all aspects of the Center's website. To establish new and motivating ongoing sponsorships with the Center. To play a large role in creating strategies for solid fundraising, donor relations, planned giving, and all other development functions. Must have 8 years or more of fundraising experience Key Responsibilities Continuous effort of donor relations, planned giving, stewardship, and sponsor recognition. Maintains and grows sponsorships for the Center Assists in monitoring and updating the website and coordinates the use of the site for other programs. Works with the VP of Community Relations to assist with all agency events. Builds and maintains relationships with media platforms like newspapers, radio, and television. Monitors the receipt of donations and the thank-you process of the donors. Monitors the flow of funding and reports to the VP and Development Committee on a regular basis. Performs other duties as assigned In this next year the Development Director will take the lead in launching a planned giving program.
