You will be responsible for leading projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of deep project management expertise, strong communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the digital agency environment.ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & ExecutionLead digital projects, such as websites and applications, from discovery to delivery while working with a cross-functional team of strategists, creatives, and technologistsServe as the primary client point of contact for project status, scope, and deliverables, managing expectations effectivelyManage all digital projects using best-practice methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) tailored to the project needsAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and business alignmentDevelop, maintain, and track detailed project plans, schedules, and budgetsProactively manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependenciesOwn the quality assurance process, ensuring final deliverables meet all requirements and Left Field Labs' standards of excellenceTeam Management & CollaborationFacilitate effective communication and collaboration across internal teams (Design, Strategy, Engineering) and with external partners or vendorsMotivate and guide project teams to ensure clarity of tasks, adherence to timelines, and overall high performanceManage resource allocation and workload planning in collaboration with department leadsFinancial OversightMonitor project financial health, including burn rate, budget forecasts, and change requestsEnsure accurate and timely client billing and reportingFollow LFL's standard project management processes, including utilizing LFL tools & templatesRequired SkillsMUST have 5+ years of experience working within a digital agency environment leading complex client-facing projectsQualificationsProven ability to lead projects of website builds (large-scale CMS implementations, platform redesigns, etc.) as well as custom application developmentDeep understanding of the digital product lifecycle, from initial user research and strategy through design, development, deployment, and ongoing optimizationExpert proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Notion)Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsDemonstrated experience managing budgets exceeding $500kPMP, Scrum Master certification, or equivalent practical experience is a significant plusEqual OpportunitiesLeft Field Labs is an equal opportunity employer and committed to providing equal employment opportunity to all applicants and team members regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, handicap, veteran status, marital status, criminal history, or any other category protected by applicable federal and state law, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance relating to an applicant's criminal history (LAMC 189.00). This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
