URGENT: Benefits & Eligibility Specialist (Immediate Onsite Opening)
We are seeking a Benefits & Eligibility Specialist to begin immediately. This role involves interactive interviewing, fact-gathering, and evaluating applications to make key qualification determinations for public assistance programs.
Position Overview
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Pay Rate: $18.50 / hour
- Location: 100% Onsite in Central Phoenix
- Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire (Opportunity to transition to full-time/FTE after training)
- Training Period: ~7 weeks, fully in-person
Key Responsibilities
- Review applications, gather facts, and conduct interactive interviews to determine eligibility for public assistance programs.
- Verify application accuracy and follow up directly with applicants as needed.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, medical professionals, and agencies to resolve customer concerns and explain program rules/policies.
- Guide applicants toward appropriate benefit programs and assist with onboarding.
- Travel occasionally to off-site locations for meetings, training, or conferences.
Requirements
- Absolute availability to start on October 5, 2026 .
- Ability to work 100% onsite for both training and standard daily duties.
- Strong communication, customer service, and objective decision-making skills.
