$20 per hourBlack Food Tour
Tour Guide Leads groups of 4-30 people on Tour (up to 2 miles), visiting up to five partner locations and identifying pre-selected local landmarks along the route. Responsibilities Confirm reservations at partner locations Greet and lead tour of 4-30 guests on 3 hour local tours to partnering location, pre-identified local landmarks, and local businesses Engage with and correspond with guests, as needed Perks Explore culinary arts and celebrate local food culture Access to local restaurants Keep 100% of Your Tips! Compensation $20/Hour + Tips Time Commitment Flexible work schedule; primarily 4 hours on various weekend; possibility of additional hours Criteria Responsible, organized, and punctual Identifies as Black or a person of color Prior experience organizing and leading excursions Possess an Outgoing/Engaging personality Excellent conversational skills with a knack for storytelling Is a Local or Bay Area Native, preferred but not required Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work on weekends.
