This role focuses on operating pill encapsulating machinery in a manufacturing environment, performing machine setup and adjustments based on work orders, and ensuring products are properly packaged and work areas remain clean and safe. The position requires frequent heavy lifting and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues to maintain efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Operate pill encapsulating machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
• Perform machine setup and adjustments in line with specific work orders and production requirements.
• Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting when machines are not functioning correctly, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor production output to ensure quality and consistency of encapsulated products.
• Package finished production into larger bins, ensuring accurate handling and organization of materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation by regularly cleaning equipment and surrounding areas.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs throughout the workday while following safe lifting practices.
• Follow all manufacturing, safety, and quality guidelines and report any issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Light mechanical knowledge to support machine setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift and move 60–100 lbs repeatedly during the workday.
• Capability to operate production machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Strong attention to detail to follow work orders and maintain product quality.
• Reliability and consistency in following established processes and safety procedures.

• Experience in production, general labor, or similar roles involving heavy lifting.
• Comfort working with mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to perform both machine operation and manual handling tasks as needed.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing facility operating on a first shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a light possibility of overtime after the shift and no weekend work. Team members are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing along with sturdy shoes or boots suitable for a production environment. The work involves frequent heavy lifting, operation of pill encapsulating machines, and handling of large bins, requiring attention to safety and proper ergonomics throughout the day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, MT.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Billings,MT.
