The Hotel Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in creating a welcoming environment for guests through efficient check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires multitasking across various responsibilities including payment processing, complaint resolution, and telephone handling. Weekend shifts are part of the commitment, with direct reporting to the Hotel Manager. Proficiency in PMS, custom hotel software, and standard office applications is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out efficiently
- Handle reservations and room assignments accurately
- Deliver excellent customer service addressing guest needs and inquiries
- Process payments and manage cash handling securely
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Operate telephone systems to assist guests and coordinate services
- Utilize PMS and custom hotel software for daily operations
- Adhere to weekend shift schedules as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in hospitality or customer service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Effective conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Accuracy and reliability in cash handling
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
