Job Description
The Hotel Front Desk Clerk plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for guests at our medium-sized hotel team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position involves managing reservations, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, and providing exceptional customer service throughout each guest's stay. The role is on-site and involves standard daytime hours with shifts that may include nights and weekends, ensuring continuous support at the front desk.
Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Handle reservation management and room assignments
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to guest inquiries
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and effectively
- Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in hospitality or customer service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
- Competent multitasking and time management abilities
