Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Assembler to join a growing medical device manufacturing team in Aliso Viejo. This position is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of medical device assembly experience who is comfortable performing detailed, precision work using microscopes, hand tools, and specialized manufacturing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble medical devices and components according to work instructions, drawings, and established procedures.
• Perform precision assembly under a microscope for small and intricate components.
• Operate and work with braiding machines and equipment used in medical device manufacturing.
• Use fine hand tools and precision tools to assemble, adjust, and inspect components.
• Perform bonding, joining, crimping, cutting, and other detailed assembly processes as required.
• Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality, workmanship, and dimensional requirements.
• Follow detailed work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing procedures.
• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following applicable safety and quality requirements.
• Identify assembly issues and communicate quality or production concerns to leadership.
• Meet established production schedules while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of medical device assembly experience required.
• Experience performing microscope assembly or other precision assembly work.
• Experience using hand tools and small precision tools.
• Experience with braiding machines or similar specialized manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to work with small components and perform detailed, repetitive tasks.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or cleanroom environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
