The successful candidate will manage complex medical malpractice cases from inception to trial, provide expert legal counsel to clients, and advocate effectively in court. Duties Manage a caseload of medical malpractice litigation from inception through resolution. Conduct thorough legal research. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and other discovery items. Conduct and defend depositions of all parties and non-parties. Produce clients for deposition. Review medical records. Meet with experts. Maintain meticulous case management records and monitor deadlines. Requirements Admitted to practice in NYS and in good standing. At least 3+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated excellence in research, writing, and legal analysis. Excellent communication skills and responsiveness. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree Certifications Bar admission in New York State. Skills Legal research and writing. Case management.
