Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and detailed evaluations to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients, allowing you to create tailored treatment plans that address their specific challenges.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, employing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to cater to a range of mental health disorders.

• Work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive coordinated and holistic care that aligns with their treatment goals.

• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress, drawing on your expertise and empathy to guide them through tough situations.

• Engage in community outreach efforts, including workshops and presentations, to promote mental health awareness and advocate for stigma reduction within our diverse community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will represent a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and mental health concerns, allowing for diverse clinical experiences. This role is particularly focused on serving underrepresented communities in Hayward and nearby areas, enhancing your cultural competence and sensitivity as you engage with individuals facing various life challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A current and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is mandatory.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication skills are necessary to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence to effectively engage with clients from various ethnic and socioeconomic groups.
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation through our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Experience with evidence-based treatment models and best practices in mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year , commensurate with your experience and licensure.
