Work Environment

As a Nurse Practitioner at Valley Urgent Care, you will work primarily onsite, engaging directly with patients in a concierge medicine setting. Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to patient consultations, admissions, and provider rounds, ensuring all documentation and wound care is performed accurately and efficiently.
• Manage and enter admission, pre-operative, post-operative, and consultative orders in a timely and compliant manner to facilitate seamless transitions in patient care.
• Assist in preparing patients for surgical procedures through thorough assessments and communication with both families and healthcare teams.
• Conduct follow-ups through effective communication with families and patients, ensuring clarity and continuity of care.
• Be adaptable with scheduling, open to working flexible shifts and being on-call as necessary to meet patient care demands.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure adherence to billing regulations to protect both patient privacy and organizational integrity.

You will serve a diverse community of patients seeking urgent care solutions, from families with children to elderly patients requiring immediate medical attention. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current PA or APRN state licenses, along with an active DEA number and NPI number.
• Strong knowledge of acute care patient standard practices.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical issues in an understandable manner.
• Proven ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary teams and individual practitioners.
• A commitment to serving a diverse patient population and maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating effective interaction with patients of various social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an urgent care or comparable healthcare setting is preferred. Experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) for order entry and patient documentation is essential in ensuring effective patient tracking and care continuity. Familiarity with concierge medicine principles will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
