Process Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical, or related discipline).\n\t· 2-5+ years of hands-on experience with process development and documentation in microelectronics packaging or related manufacturing environments\n\t· Demonstrated experience with die attach, wire bonding, and/or vacuum soldering (hands-on, not theoretical).\n\t· Experience working in cleanroom environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience in contract manufacturing, engineering services, or high-mix/low-volume production environments.\n\t· Familiarity with advanced packaging concepts such as 2.5D architectures, heterogeneous integration, or advanced interconnects.\n\t· Experience supporting customers in defense, aerospace, medical, photonics, or semiconductor R&D environments.\n\t· Comfort working directly with capital equipment platforms and process control software.

Job Description

· Work directly with customers to understand packaging challenges and translate requirements into robust, manufacturable process solutions.\n\t· Provide technical guidance on design-for-manufacturability (DFM) decisions related to die attach, wire bonding, and soldering processes.\n\t· Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding project status, risks, findings, and recommended solutions.\n\t· Develop concise problem statements and technical summaries under tight timelines.\n\t· Develop, optimize, and document packaging processes using client equipment and systems.\n\t· Execute hands-on process development, prototyping, and low-to-medium volume contract manufacturing builds in a Class 10,000 cleanroom.\n\t· Rapidly learn and apply hardware platforms, software tools, and process workflows.\n\t· Diagnose process issues, identify all relevant variables, and propose technically sound solutions.\n\t· Own assigned projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring schedules, quality, and customer expectations are met.\n\t· Manage multiple concurrent projects, often transitioning between different customers and technologies within the same week.\n\t· Sustain focus and technical rigor on long-duration, high-value projects ($500k+), maintaining attention to detail throughout extended execution phases.\n\t· Proactively escalate risks, constraints, or deviations while offering potential corrective actions.\n\t· Collaborate closely with peers, engineering leadership, and operations to align on priorities and execution strategies.\n\t· Accept feedback constructively and contribute to team-based problem solving rather than operating in isolation.\n\t· Support growth initiatives by contributing to process standardization, training, and best-practice development.
