As a Logistics Account Manager , you'll take ownership of the entire sales process - from prospecting and pricing to relationship management and account growth. - Develop and grow new business through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and strong relationship building.
- Manage the full sales cycle - from pricing and quoting to negotiating and closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal operations, pricing, and credit teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain consistent communication and documentation through our CRM system.
- Analyze customer needs and create tailored logistics solutions to maximize profitability and service quality.
- Manage and nurture assigned accounts to increase revenue and long-term success.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, logistics, or transportation preferred.
- Proven ability to develop strong client relationships and drive business growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for problem-solving and exceeding goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or higher required.
- Commission-based :
- 15% of Gross Profit on brokered freight for new accounts
- 10% of Gross Profit on brokered freight for house accounts
- 4% of line haul for asset-covered freight on new accounts
- Full-time position | Average 40 hours per week | Minimal travel (under 10%)
