Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and understanding
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referral physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
