Surgery - General Physician

We are seeking a Locums Orthopedic Surgeon to establish and grow anelective orthopedic and total joints practice in Williamson County, Illinois.This is a unique opportunity to build a high-volume elective practice from astrong foundation with the support of an established health system, dedicatedAPP assistance, and a collaborative orthopedic team.

• Hospitalist team managesadmissions for most inpatient cases.
• Strong administrative andclinical infrastructure to support practice growth.
• Limited acute orthopedic andfracture coverage.
• Complex trauma casestransferred to orthopedic traumatology specialists within the health system.
• Opportunity to shape andgrow a new orthopedic service line.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from anaccredited medical school.
• Completion of an accreditedOrthopedic Surgery residency program.
• Board Certified or BoardEligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligible for Illinoismedical licensure and hospital privileges.
• Interest in building andgrowing an elective orthopedic surgery practice.
• Comfortable managing alimited amount of acute orthopedic and fracture care.

Preferred

• Fellowship training in AdultReconstruction and Total Joint Replacement.
• Experience developingreferral networks and growing elective surgical volume.
• Strong commitment topatient-centered, high-quality orthopedic care.

• Generous (above market) hourly rate per 24 hour shift
• All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate

• Personal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts
