Application Support Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Application Support Engineer to join their team. As a Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations team supporting various technical functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Provide technical production support for high-volume transaction processing applications and platforms.

• Manage and troubleshoot operational issues, including diagnosing problems like blank screens and reducing impact.

• Deploy and support customer care applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.

• Monitor application performance using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Moogsoft.

• Collaborate with development teams to review operational readiness and participate in release deployments.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in relevant fields.

• Minimum of 10 years of software development experience with Microsoft (.NET, C#) and/or Java technologies.

• At least 3 years of experience working with cloud environments, particularly Azure.

• Strong troubleshooting skills, including reading/writing code and automation scripting.

• Solid understanding of network concepts, web services (SOAP, REST), and certificate management.
