ABOUT THIS ROLE

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with our dedicated team of IHOP restaurant hourly employees, Corporate and Regional employees, and most importantly, our valued guests. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in implementing our Craft Training program, ensuring that all restaurant hourly employees are equipped with the necessary skills to improve unit operations and enhance the overall guest experience. In this role, you will be accountable for executing annual objectives related to financial performance, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resources.

Your keen attention to detail will be essential as you manage the restaurant floor, maintain regular contact with guests, and handle any complaints in a professional and timely manner. Adhering to federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the assigned unit is a top priority, ensuring that our operation remains in full compliance. Recruiting, training, and retaining a high-performing team is another vital aspect of this role. You will be responsible for conducting ongoing coaching, administering our restaurant hourly compensation plan, and ensuring that performance appraisals are completed as scheduled. Adhering to our standard operating procedures (SOP), you will guarantee that food quality, presentation, and service are consistently exceptional. Additionally, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, equipment functionality, and overall cleanliness of the restaurant are crucial to providing a safe and enjoyable dining environment for our guests. As a Restaurant General Manager , you will also play a key role in implementing national and local marketing promotions, showcasing our brand and attracting new guests. Completing all necessary reports and paperwork efficiently and accurately will be critical to maintaining our high standards of operational excellence.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
