This contract position focuses on conducting bilingual assessments for three students, with services required before September 10. Work on an as-needed, on-call basis near the Chino, CA area, allowing for flexibility and independence while providing essential expertise to the educational community.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Demonstrated experience working within school settings
• Strong background in bilingual assessments (Spanish/English highly preferred)
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to individualized education program (IEP) teams, families, and educators
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently on a flexible, as-needed schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete bilingual speech and language assessments for students referred prior to September 10
• Gather and analyze relevant background and academic information
• Prepare clear and thorough reports detailing evaluation results and recommendations
• Effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support the development of IEPs
• Communicate progress and assessment outcomes clearly to all stakeholders
• Remain available on an on-call basis to fulfill the district’s unique assessment needs
