You’ll work directly with an elementary-aged student and a supportive multidisciplinary team at the Ed Tech Center. This role will develop your expertise in cognitive impairment and autism spectrum disorder, providing valuable, marketable experience that will further your career. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification with a Cognitive Impairment (CI) endorsement (required)
• Experience or strong interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred
• Proven ability to manage challenging behaviors and mental health needs
• Previous school-based special education experience highly regarded

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to one student (8 or 9 years old) with cognitive impairment and ASD tendencies
• Work collaboratively with a full support team to address academic, behavioral, and mental health needs
• Implement behavior management strategies tailored to student-specific goals
• Maintain documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
