Claims Specialist

Owning the day-to-day investigation and management of Cyber, Technology Errors & Omissions, and Miscellaneous Professional Lines claims, the full-time remote Claims Specialist will efficiently conduct investigations, manage negotiations, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance incident response and preventative services. Key responsibilities Manage a dedicated claims portfolio, conducting thorough investigations and negotiating settlements Collaborate with internal security and technology teams to provide proactive incident response services Establish a continuous feedback loop with the Underwriting team to refine risk selection strategies Required qualifications 2-4 years of experience in claims handling, claims advocacy, or cyber insurance coverage Ability to evaluate primary and excess coverage and navigate complex cases Expertise in handling third-party claims, particularly in Technology Errors & Omissions and Miscellaneous Professional Lines Established connections within the cyber broking community or cybersecurity sectors Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders, including insureds, brokers, and underwriters
