Contribute your expertise as a Middle School Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year within a dedicated Learning Resource Center (LRC) team. You’ll join two other LRC professionals, work closely with diverse student populations in grades 6-8, and help shape inclusive learning environments. With a caseload of approximately 40 students, this onsite-only position is perfect for educators eager to enhance their resume, adapt to diverse school cultures, and refine their leadership skills in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications:

• Current WA Special Education teaching license (or willingness to obtain)
• Fingerprinting through OSPI (or willingness to complete)
• Previous experience in middle school and special education settings is highly desirable
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for supporting students with varying learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of about 40 middle school students in the LRC
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with a team of LRC teachers and school staff
• Organize small group or one-on-one instructional sessions
• Monitor and document student growth and progress
