Upscale Lebanese and Eastern Mediterranean restaurant opening a new Midtown location with high-volume service and a strong culinary identity.
Qualifications:
Tenure that shows stability in prior roles (no job-hoppers)
2+ years of experience in a similar Sous Chef or culinary leadership position
Prior restaurant opening experience required
Mediterranean or Middle Eastern culinary experience strongly preferred
Strong hands-on culinary skills with the ability to lead from the kitchen
Experience maintaining food quality, consistency, and execution in a high-volume environment
Proven ability to train, coach, and develop culinary team members
Strong understanding of prep, service flow, sanitation, and kitchen organization
Ability to support opening systems, standards, and team development
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must be local to the New York City market

Calm under pressure and comfortable in high-volume service
Strong communicator with excellent training and mentorship skills

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands
