Clinical Pharmacist - ATM CPN (Thursday to Monday)

Overview AnewHealth is a national pharmacy care management company specializing in complex, chronic patient needs. With a dedicated workforce, we provide comprehensive pharmacy services, full‑service pharmacy benefit management, and specialized support for PACE programs. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, pharmacists, and healthcare providers to address medication‑related problems and pharmacotherapy questions. Explain care plan options, medication side effects, and contraindications verbally or via written records in proprietary software. Document patient care decisions, coding, and billing using proprietary systems. Ensure accurate, efficient, timely, and compliant medication distribution and fulfillment. Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for assessing, compounding, packaging, and labeling medications according to policy and legal requirements. Oversee Pharmacy Technicians to ensure medication reconciliation, inventory management, and laboratory compliance. Review, prepare, compound, and approve prescription orders, ensuring correct drug, dosage, and labeling. Maintain proper billing and record keeping for all dispensed and shipped medications. Provide professional judgment to assess new medication requests and refills, making recommendations to care providers. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines. Report and rectify incidents involving QA, HIPAA violations, fraud, waste, or abuse. Current active state license; must obtain an NJ license within 180 days of hire. Minimum 2 years experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging with geriatrics and/or chronic care management. Strong interest or experience in clinical pharmacogenomics preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in proprietary pharmacy software and other computer applications. Demonstrated problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and project management skills. Detail oriented, organized, able to work under pressure, multi‑task, and meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills and clinical judgement for medication‑related problem identification and resolution. Knowledge of state and federal laws, including HIPAA and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse regulations. Proficiency with MS Office Suite. High level of integrity and quality orientation. Innovative and steadfast work ethic. Schedule and Physical Demands Full‑time position, 40 hours per week. Typical hours are 11:30am – 8:00pm ET, Thursday through Monday, with rotating holiday schedule. The role involves sitting, standing, talking, walking, and commuting to multiple site locations.
