Part-Time Office Custodian

Location:  Byron Center, MI 

Shift: 1st Shift 

Pay: $18.00+ per hour Based on experience 

Job Summary

The Custodian role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout office areas and designated sections of the manufacturing facility. This position ensures workspaces, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms are cleaned and maintained to company standards, supporting employee health, safety, and productivity.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Custodian, your core responsibilities will include:

• Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, reception areas, and administrative workspaces
• Dust desks, furniture, windowsills, and office equipment
• Vacuum carpets and clean hard-surface floors
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed
• Clean glass surfaces, doors, and interior windows
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, and fixtures
• Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies
• Clean break rooms, including tables, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, and sinks
• Remove trash and maintain sanitary conditions in employee common areas

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial, commercial cleaning, or relevant experience 
• Proven reliability and track record of longevity in work 
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs 
• Able to bend, squat, twist, stoop and perform job duties for a full shift
