We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to oversee the work of the Human Resources team at Philadelphia FIGHT while fostering a positive, respectful, and legally compliant workplace culture. The HR Manager will lead employee relations initiatives, advise managers on performance and workplace issues, conduct investigations, resolve employee concerns, and ensure consistent application of company policies. The HR Manager will also partner with leadership to improve employee engagement, reduce workplace risk, and support organizational goals. About the Role:Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (9:00 - 5:00 PM).Location: Philadelphia FIGHT, 1233 Locust St FL 1, Philadelphia, PA 19107Compensation & Benefits:FSLA status is exempt with an annual rate of $92,500 - $100,000.3 weeks of PTO (4 weeks after 1st year) + 11 paid holidays.Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision & Prescription Coverage.Employer-funded Short-Term Disability coverage and Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D).Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) with employer contribution.403(b) Retirement Savings Plan with options for basic plan or Roth 403(b) contributions with employer matching up to 4%.Discounted education options with partnered institution Pierce College.And a multitude of other employee perks, including but not limited to, the option to contribute to medical discount programs, legal services, charitable contributions, and pet insurance coverage! Qualifications:Master 's degree in human resource management or a related field or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification; possession of both credentials strongly preferred.5+ years of employee relations experience.5+ years of general HR experience with a combination of recruitment, benefits, HRIS, etc.2+ years of supervisor experience required.Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Experience conducting workplace investigations.Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills.Must possess basic computer skills to perform job duties including desktop computing, e-mail, time sheet management, reporting, internet research, etc. using relevant software such as HRIS and Microsoft 365, etc.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.Strong skillsets in oral and written communication, cultural competence, interpersonal relationships and teamwork, attention to detail, customer service, time management, autonomy, problem solving and organization.Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Experience in the healthcare field a plus.Effective project and process management skills as demonstrated from past work experience.Ability to maintain confidentiality. Essential duties:Manages the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department including but not limited to, employee relations, disputes and investigations, benefits and leave, talent management, credentialing, performance management, recognition and morale, and training and development.Hires, trains, evaluates and develops staff in support of core FIGHT values and policies, practices and principles; address and monitor the specific goals and assignments of each staff member by facilitating weekly one/one supervisory meetings. Manages staff schedule to ensure appropriate coverage.Serves as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution; supports the Benefits Specialist in FMLA/leave/ADA issues.Conducts prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations into employee complaints, policy violations, and workplace misconduct.Partners with managers to train and advise them on performance management issues, disciplinary actions, corrective action plans, and terminations; participates in all termination meetings as assigned.Collaborates with the Chief Human Resources Officer to create, implement, monitor, evaluate and revise FIGHT policies, procedures, practices and Employee Handbook in alignment with FIGHT's culture and goals and in accordance with all applicable funding requirements, federal, state, and local laws.Interprets and consistently applies to company policies, procedures, and employment laws.Coaches managers on employee performance, documentation, and accountability.Supports the annual performance review process and continuous feedback initiatives.Partners with leaders to improve employee performance and engagement.Develops and implements initiatives that promote employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture.Analyzes employee feedback, turnover trends, and engagement survey results to recommend improvements.Trains supervisors on workplace policies, conflict resolution, harassment prevention, and employment law compliance.Assists with organizational change management and workforce planning initiatives.Prepares HR metrics and reports related to employee relations, turnover, investigations, and compliance.Collaborates with the Chief Human Resources Officer to develop departmental goals and objectives based on the agency's strategic goals; collaborates closely with HR consultants, attorneys, trainers, etc. as needed.Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.Ensures compliance with credentialing standards (criminal background checks, clearances, education verifications, credentialing, licenses, certifications, etc.) and ensures that talent aspects of HRIS are managed properly.Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the HRIS system. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and best practices; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice and resources to upper management.Monitors and ensures the agency's compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; develops, reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.Implements and maintains optimal function of HRIS, which may include database management, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested to support FIGHT operations.Assists the Talent Acquisition Specialist in all areas of a successful strategic staffing plan: workforce planning, sourcing talent, recruiting, selecting, acquiring and deploying talent; may assist with retention activities.Assists the Talent Acquisition Specialist at local job fairs (colleges, universities, etc.); builds the organization's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners.Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.Upholds and ensures compliance and attention to all FIGHT policies and procedures as well as the overall mission and values of the organization.Other duties as assigned to fulfill FIGHT's mission.FIGHT is an EEO, Affirmative Action, LGBTQ, people living with HIV/AIDS, and protected veterans' institution.
