MSAT Scientist II, Downstream

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges in manufacturing processes
• Support process validation, technology transfer, and scale-up activities for viral vector production
• Conduct risk assessment and root cause analysis on manufacturing issues
• Ensure robust, scalable processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Train and support team members on manufacturing and quality procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology
• Two years GMP manufacturing, process development, or related technical experience (or advanced degree with no experience requirement)
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with analytical techniques, HPLC, spectroscopy, and laboratory instrumentation
• Experience with aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations
• Competency in project management, documentation, and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation: $66,000–$99,000 base
