Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an MSAT Scientist II to provide scientific and technical leadership for drug-product manufacturing processes at a viral vector CDMO. The role involves technology transfer, process validation, investigations, and lifecycle management across commercial and clinical programs.

Responsibilities

Provide scientific and technical support for drug-product manufacturing operations
Lead or support technology transfers of processes for clinical and commercial programs
Develop process-validation strategies and author or review qualification protocols and reports
Lead complex deviation investigations, nonconformance assessments, and root-cause analyses
Develop and maintain process-monitoring and continued process verification programs

Requirements

Advanced degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or related field
Or bachelor's degree plus 2 years GMP manufacturing or process development experience
Experience authoring or reviewing GMP documentation (protocols, reports, deviations, change controls)
Experience with formulation, filtration, filling, inspection, or process validation
Strong data analysis and technical writing capabilities
Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing principles and current GMP regulations

Compensation: $66,000–$99,000 base
