Position Summary: The Project & Bid Manager leads the development, quotation, approval, and implementation of new contract manufacturing and packaging opportunities in the United States, while supporting growth with existing customers and collaboration across North America and Europe. This role converts customer requirements into practical, compliant, and profitable operating solutions by integrating commercial, technical, operational, financial, and project‑management inputs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Own the quotation process for new‑business opportunities in the United States, ensuring inputs are complete, consistent, traceable, and ready for commercial and P&L review. Develop P&L‑ready proposals supported by labor, space, resource, material, startup, investment, risk, pricing, margin, and payback assumptions. Translate customer requirements into executable process flows, operating concepts, layouts, capacity models, equipment and tooling scopes, technical requirements, and CAPEX estimates. Lead new‑business projects involving new customers, items, machines, technologies, lines, operating models, or sites from approval through stable launch. Develop and manage project charters, scope, deliverables, budgets, milestones, critical paths, resource plans, governance cadence, implementation plans, risk logs, and stakeholder communications. Coordinate procurement, installation, commissioning, qualification or validation, trials, training, readiness reviews, production ramp‑up, and controlled handoff to Operations. Lead or support customer discovery, technical reviews, solution workshops, plant tours, proposal presentations, and startup governance meetings. Partner with Sales/Business Development, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Quality, R&D/NPD, Planning, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, customers, and suppliers. Ensure solutions and project execution meet applicable company, customer, quality, food‑safety, food‑defense, and regulatory requirements. Provide structured status reporting covering progress, costs, risks, decisions, actions, escalations, and outlook. Promote standardized RFQ, costing, project‑governance, reporting, and startup practices across the region. Other duties as assigned. Education, Training, & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering, operations, supply chain, business, project management, or a related field preferred. At least 5 years of experience in contract manufacturing and/or contract packaging preferred. At least 5 years of experience in CPG/FMCG, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, medical device, or another relevant regulated manufacturing or packaging environment preferred. Demonstrated ownership of RFQ/RFP, quotation, solution‑costing, or business‑case development processes. Hands‑on experience translating customer requirements into process, labor, layout, equipment/tooling, capacity, investment, risk, cost, and profitability assumptions. Proven end‑to‑end delivery of new products, customers, lines, technologies, facilities, or manufacturing‑transfer/startup programs. Strong project‑management experience, including budgets, schedules, cross‑functional teams, risk mitigation, governance, and escalation. Customer‑facing experience developing solutions, presenting recommendations, and supporting business wins, growth, retention, or expansion. Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities: Knowledge gained through on‑the‑job training of company products, policies, procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality and regulatory standards. Ability to develop cost models, pricing recommendations, margin/P&L logic, CAPEX estimates, payback analysis, and business cases. Ability to define process flows, time and capacity models, layouts, equipment or tooling requirements, startup plans, and ramp‑up assumptions. Skill in leading projects with scope, budget, timeline, risk, governance, escalation, implementation, handover, and multi‑site coordination. Skill in managing customer discovery, requirements definition, solution presentation, negotiation support, relationship building, and executive communication. Ability to effectively partner with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, R&D/NPD, Planning, IT, and Supply Chain. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Skill in multitasking and time management. Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments. Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential. Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, and work instructions including but not limited to Truvant policies, customer‑specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety, and food defense. Physical & Environmental Requirements: Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens, and other communication. Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co‑workers, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Must be able to reach, touch, and grasp. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time based on business need. Must be able to safely access office, warehouse, production, customer, and operational environments as required. Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull, and push as required. Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor. Must be able to work in various environments based on building location, products, customer requirements, and project activity. Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 35 pounds.
