Project ManagerSummary: Work Hours: 30-40 (in the office 1-2 days a week), this position has the opportunity for an extension.Top 3 Must-Haves (Hard and/or Soft Skills):Solid project management skills, the ability to guide work from initiation to completion.Proficient using project management software.Efficient, open, collaborative, strategic, creative, sees the big/holistic picture, customer-oriented, results driven and can work well with a team, but also does not need a lot of direction to finalize a project.Candidates must have experience in either a corporate creative department or marketing/branding agency or any agency experience.Ability to follow brand guidelines and ensure work produced is aligned.Top 3 Nice-To-Haves (Hard and/or Soft Skills):Bilingual English/Spanish.Experience with digital marketing or content strategy.Writing or design experience.Education Requirements: Bachelors in marketing, communications or related fieldCertification Requirements (Any Preferences): PMP a plusHow many years of experience are you looking for? 4-6 yearsTeam and Work Environment:Our Brand/Marketing teams represent ~20 people. The Brand team is responsible for brand marketing and sponsorship activations to drive awareness and affinity. The Marketing team is responsible for marketing to residential and business customers to drive program enrollment. There is also a shared body of work to communicate with customers about their account or service, unrelated to marketing that is partially managed by the brand/marketing team in partnership with the Communications team.It's a positive team environment with people who are passionate about the work and our customers.Our team communications use Microsoft platforms and our creative teams primarily use the Adobe Creative Suite and everyone uses Workfront to manage creative projects and AEM to manage assets.What would "a day in the life" of this role look like:Working with marketers, strategists to brief and on brand.Our team typically is in the office 1-2 days a week to have a chance to collaborate, meet and interact in-person. If the chosen candidate prefers working in an office, that can be accommodated.What interaction level with this role have the team members and hiring manager? This role will work daily with team members and the hiring manager. This is a highly communicative and integrated team and the expectation is that this role will embed within this integrated team culture.What would you say is the top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months? Learning PGE processes and standards. Working with partners to deliver excellent creative work.What do you foresee being the biggest challenge in this role? We embrace and enjoy people who do not have a utility background. However, there is a lot of learning that will happen quickly to get up to speed etc.Resource needs can sometimes be challenging as we balance priorities and urgency of requests.Learning new systems such as Warfront (if they are not experienced in it).Minimum Qualifications:Guide the execution of deliverables from concept through completion, relying on best practices.Collaborates with colleagues to aide in the development of marketing campaigns aligned to business needs and brand execution.Collaborate to create and execute clear, actionable briefs for creative (e.g., copywriters, designers, etc.).Working with colleagues, coordinate assignments and work of creative.Capture all deliverables projects and create work-back plans that include goals, measurable objectives, tactics, resources, timelines, budget, key review cycles, stakeholders, decision makers.Coordinate with designers, writers and other creative in the development of assets.Showcase strong organizational and time management skills, combined with the ability to prioritize work based on business strategy.Act as an ambassador of the brand, ensuring brand standards are maintained throughout campaigns.You will bring the following skills to our team:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or similar field plus 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Advanced skills in collaboration, relationship building, negotiation, influence, style flexing and conflict competence.Advanced skills in communication, including presentations.Intermediate skills in all stages of project management.Intermediate skills in analyzing complex information to make a recommendation.Intermediate skills in organization and prioritization, problem solving and innovation.Intermediate skills in process improvement, self-management and taking the initiative.Intermediate skills in thinking critically, asking probing questions, and understanding root cause issues.Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Ability to follow processes and procedures.Ability to work variable hours to meet business need.Ability to consistently meet attendance standards for regular, reliable, predictable, full-time attendance.
